Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate for our Turners Falls, MA plant. The role involves proper packaging of materials, loading and moving materials, and operating packaging equipment while following GMPs to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, monitoring lines, inspecting bottles, labeling products correctly, and supporting production across shifts. The position offers a 12-hour D shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates a Teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
• Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies.
• Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Ensure efficient setup and organization of workstations and restock supplies.
