Job summary

Glass House Brands Inc. is seeking a Packaging Associate to pack finished product in accordance with standard procedures while maintaining quality and production efficiency.

The role requires adherence to GMP/GDP and safety guidelines, with attention to accurate inventory and clean packing areas. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and a 40-hour week are expected.

You will collaborate with Production Supervisors to follow packing schedules and communicate SOP improvements to enhance operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of related packaging experience.
• Experience with Cannabis related equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished product according to standard procedures.
• Follow packing schedules as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintain accurate records and updated inventory.
• Keep Packing Room and common areas organized, clean and pristine.
• Comply with GMP, GDP and safety guidelines.
• Communicate SOP improvements to Supervisor and adhere to practices.
• Perform duties with quality and ensure orders are packed carefully.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Brief Description

Packaging associate will be responsible for packing finished product in accordance with standard packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Comply with company packing procedures and standards.
• Ability to strongly follow packing schedule as directed by Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
• Maintaining accurate, record keeping and updated inventory.
• Maintain Packing Room and any common areas organized, clean, and pristine to optimize production efficiency.
• Comply with GMP, GDP and safety guidelines, in accordance with company and government agency policies.
• Communicate with Supervisor about any improvements made to any SOP’s and strictly adhere to these practices.
• Performs work in quality fashion.
• Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully.
• Must maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
