Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Almena, WI is seeking a Packaging Assembler to support the cheese packaging line. You will perform manual packaging tasks, apply cheese and ingredients, and package products for shipment.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED (or related experience), the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong cleanliness and safety standards. Join a team focused on quality and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Follow quality system and regulatory requirements.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain regular attendance.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the production line.
• Perform packaging tasks: bagging, wrapping, labeling, boxing, palletizing.
• Restock packaging materials into machines (boxes, tape, glue, film).
• Monitor production flow; remove bad product as needed and reapply if required.
• Assist coworkers and ensure production quality and accuracy.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation duties.
