Job summary

Field International seeks a hands-on Packaging & Foam Fabrication Technician to support aerospace manufacturing in Pensacola, FL. You will fabricate custom packaging and foam solutions, read engineering drawings, and use hand and power tools to ensure precise, high-quality parts.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and safety, with growth opportunities in an expanding U.S. operation. A high school diploma is required; technical training is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience in packaging, foam fabrication, woodworking or related industrial environment.
Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Aerospace, defense, foam-cutting, CNC, or AS9100 experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Fabricate custom packaging and foam solutions to protect aerospace components during shipment and storage.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
Operate hand and power tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain attention to detail, quality, and problem-solving in production tasks.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a hands-on Packaging & Foam Fabrication Technician to support our aerospace manufacturing operations in Pensacola, Florida. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can fabricate custom packaging and foam solutions that protect aerospace components and equipment during shipment and storage.

Experience in packaging, foam fabrication, woodworking, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
Ability to measure, cut, shape, and assemble foam and packaging materials accurately.
Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
Aerospace, defense, foam-cutting, CNC, or AS9100 experience is preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
