Job Description:

This role functions as an Individual Contributor. It follows a selected number of clearly defined procedures under general guidance. The Packaging Analyst provides transactional packaging data and documentation services, coordinates data cleansing and quality checks. Until a Team Leader is appointed, the Packaging Analyst will temporarily report to the Packaging Analyst, Japanese Speaker. The GSC Philippines Enterprise Packaging Engineering Team is overseen by the Global Packaging Manager, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Forecast to Schedule GSC Operations Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Follows a variety of clearly defined procedures within Packaging Engineering, working independently with work priorities defined with the manager/supervisor.
• Uses packaging practices to guide and train others within the same or related work groups.
• Handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity, using data from multiple sources and basic analytical skills to interpret information, examine variables, draw conclusions, and assess alternative methods.
• Performs tasks such as handling data and documentation updates across systems, supporting documentation in PLM, entering and approving data change requests in SAP, creating and maintaining EWM Global Pack Specs, and supporting quality management requirements.
• Participates in cross-functional teams to develop process improvements, SOPs, work instructions, training, and documentation.
• Manages and retrieves packaging and business data from departmental systems/databases to support analysis or improvements.

Interactions are primarily internal, focused on answering routine questions and exchanging factual information with knowledgeable colleagues. The role involves participating in corporate programs, complying with standards and policies, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI are a plus.
• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Professional, positive, and tactful demeanor.
• Problem-solving skills involving judgment, research, and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, under pressure.
