Advance Staffing Solutions (The Advance Group) is seeking a Packager for a growing manufacturing team serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. You will read batch sheets, weigh ingredients, and package products, ensuring accurate labeling and a clean, safe work area.

The position offers a starting wage of $16 per hour, with potential pay raises and benefits upon hire. Schedule: Mon–Thu 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime on Fridays as needed; ability to lift up to 55 lbs; growth opportunities

Formación

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs as needed.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Occasional bending and/or stooping required.
• Ability to perform simple math, including percentages.
• Follow LOTO procedures, safety rules, and company policies.
• Perform daily cleaning of equipment and work area with required sign-offs.
• Flexible schedule and location availability.

Responsibilities of Packager:

• Reads, understands and interprets Batch Sheets and Fill Tickets to precise specifications.
• Identifies, weighs and mixes raw ingredients for batching.
• Makes tablets and/or chews using appropriate manufacturing presses and equipment.
• Packages finished products as required.
• Labels products.
• Puts lot numbers and “best by” dates on bottles (called Spraying) using an ink jet printer.
• Cleans and sterilizes the processing equipment and area.
• Checks to ensure the quality of products before, during and after the manufacturing process.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Responsible to report any and all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Performs or assists with other projects or duties as assigned.

• Hours for Packager: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime on Fridays as needed (6–8 hours based on demand; never 3 Fridays in a row)
• Compensation and Benefits for the Packager: Starting pay is $16/hr Pay increase and benefits upon hire
