Job summary

Advance Staffing Solutions (The Advance Group) is seeking a Packager for a growing manufacturing team serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. You will read batch sheets, weigh ingredients, and package products, ensuring accurate labeling and a clean, safe work area.

The position offers a starting wage of $16 per hour, with potential pay raises and benefits upon hire. Schedule: Mon–Thu 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime on Fridays as needed; ability to lift up to 55 lbs; growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs as needed.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Occasional bending and/or stooping required.
• Ability to perform simple math, including percentages.
• Follow LOTO procedures, safety rules, and company policies.
• Perform daily cleaning of equipment and work area with required sign-offs.
• Flexible schedule and location availability.

Responsibilities

• Read batch sheets and fill tickets to specs.
• Identify, weigh and mix raw ingredients for batching.
• Make tablets and/or chews using presses and equipment.
• Package finished products and label them.
• Apply lot numbers and best-by dates using ink jet printer.
• Clean and sterilize processing equipment and area.
• Check product quality during production.
• Report mechanical or material issues to supervisor.
• Promote food safety and quality awareness.
