Job summary

embecta is seeking a dedicated packaging operator for the B shift (6:20pm-6:30am) in Holdrege, Nebraska. You will support bottling/packaging lines, follow safety rules, and ensure accurate counts and quality control.

The role emphasizes good hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform repetitive motions safely. A High School Diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required; English fluency is essential. Join a team focused on reliable, quality manufacturing in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis.
• Must know lockout procedures as described in the corporate safety standard 13, plant lockout procedure and key interrupt.
• Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams.
• Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to:
• discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving contents
• checking packaging for correct count
• checking for damage to syringes
• checking for correct lot control numbers
• inserting brochures as required
• palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card
• operating semi-auto tape machine
• performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention
• Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements.
• Keep work area clean. Final clean up at end of shift.
• Regular attendance.
