Job summary

ADM is seeking a Packager II in Hiawatha, Kansas. The role focuses on maintaining food safety and product integrity, following SOPs, training staff, and reporting unsafe conditions. The position emphasizes efficiency, cleanliness, and accurate handling of bags, pallets, and lines, with pay around $18.50 per hour.

Applicants should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and tolerate dust/noise. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to withstand dust and noise.
• ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and recommend revisions for improvements.
• Follow procedures dictated by Floor Traveler for each product.
• Instruct subordinate staff and/or temporary employees on job specific tasks.
• Report any unsafe conditions or acts to Productions Supervisor and/or other management personnel.
• Work in the most effective, efficient, and safe manners at all times.
• Carry out good housekeeping and cleaning practices.
• Put bags in Trays, cases on pallets, bulk dumping on lines,
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
