Pull orders accurately and efficiently using pick sheets in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Hand-pull products and place them securely on electric pallet jacks (EPJs) for staging and shipment.
Support shipping and receiving activities by organizing, staging, and preparing orders for outbound shipments.
Assist with receiving incoming products, verifying counts, and organizing inventory as directed.
Handle inventory carefully to minimize damage and maintain accurate stock levels.
Work effectively as part of a warehouse team to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Follow all safety procedures while operating pallet jacks and working in dry and freezer environments.
Adapt to changing priorities and workload demands throughout the day.
Participate in periodic inventory activities, including one Saturday per quarter for inventory counts.
2–3 years of fast-paced warehouse experience in picking, pulling, shipping, and receiving.
1–2 years of experience operating electric pallet jacks (EPJs).
Hands-on experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Proficiency in using pick sheets to pull and stage orders accurately.
Ability to operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Experience working in fast-paced warehouse or distribution settings.
Experience in food distribution environments such as large food distributors or similar operations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when pulling and staging orders.
Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including hot, cold, and freezer conditions.
Capability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until work is completed, typically between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and one Saturday per quarter for inventory.
Prior experience in food distribution warehouses is highly beneficial.
Comfort working with a team of approximately 15 people in a busy warehouse environment.
Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting daily production and accuracy expectations.
Willingness to work in both dry and freezer sections as needed.
Ability to adapt to performance-based growth opportunities in a contract-to-hire setting.

The position is based in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment that includes both dry and freezer areas. The dry side of the warehouse typically runs about 5–10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature and is not climate controlled, while the freezer area operates at approximately 0 degrees. The facility can be hot, cold, and loud, and you will work closely with a team of about 15 people. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until work is completed, usually between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., with one Saturday per quarter required for inventory activities. Work involves frequent use of electric pallet jacks and pallet jacks in an active warehouse setting. Appropriate attire includes steel toe shoes and a jacket suitable for working in freezer conditions.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
