Stella-Jones in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Laborer to assist manufacturing activities and support daily production. The role involves handling endplates, operating banding equipment, and helping load/unload materials while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

You will contribute to safety initiatives, participate in the company safety program, and support various duties as required. This is a frontline position offering steady work and opportunities within a large infrastructure supplier.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing activities is preferred.
• Ability to assist with loading/unloading materials and operating basic equipment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and participate in the safety program.

Responsibilities

• Applies endplates by hand or machine as part of manufacturing tasks.
• Operates banding equipment and assists in loading/unloading materials.
• Maintains work areas, paints and cleans property, plant and equipment.
• Supports the team in day-to-day production and safety initiatives.

Laborer assists with manufacturing activities by performing the following duties:

• Applies endplates by hand or machine
• Operates banding equipment
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading charges
• Assist in storage by setting stickers and dunnage
• Tag materials with proper product tags.
• Cut dunnage.
• Assist in cleaning work areas, painting and maintaining property, plant and equipment.
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
