Job summary

EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dependable Packager to join our manufacturing team. You will ensure products are properly packaged, protected, and prepared for delivery, upholding EMIT’s quality, accuracy, and professionalism.

The role emphasizes safe handling and accurate packing for installations or use. Key responsibilities include moving parts through packaging stages, labeling and organizing shipments, and preparing orders for pickup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Warehouse/packaging or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Dependable, safety-minded, able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Move finished parts from coat to pack according to the daily production plan.
• Package small component parts, hardware kits, and detailed items so they are secure, labeled, and organized for shipment.
• Package, palletize, and/or crate larger assemblies and materials to prevent damage in transit.
• Transfer completed materials from pack to the shipping area and prepare orders for pickup.
• Load outbound freight safely and accurately, verifying counts and packaging integrity.
• Assist with unloading inbound raw material shipments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area.
• Follow EMIT 1,2,3 standards for cleanliness and organization.

Job description

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team at EMIT Technologies. In this role, you’ll ensure finished products—ranging from small component parts to large assemblies and crated items—are properly packaged, protected, and prepared for customer delivery. You’ll play a critical part in maintaining EMIT’s high standards for quality, accuracy, and professionalism by ensuring every shipment leaves our facility damage‑free and ready for installation or use.

Key Accountabilities

• Move finished parts from coat to pack according to the daily production plan
• Package small component parts, hardware kits, and detailed items so they are secure, labeled, and organized for shipment
• Package, palletize, and/or crate larger assemblies and materials to prevent damage in transit
• Transfer completed materials from pack to the shipping area and prepare orders for pickup
• Load outbound freight safely and accurately, verifying counts and packaging integrity

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. repeatedly
• Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout an entire shift
• Always use applicable PPE
• Follow safety protocols when handling materials and loading freight
