Smithers Package Testing is seeking a Package Testing Technician to support testing projects from start to finish, executing laboratory testing services and collecting critical performance data. This role offers hands-on work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced lab.

You will perform hands-on package and distribution testing, document data accurately, and support various testing projects, contributing to the safety and quality of products as they move through the supply chain.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, or testing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on package and distribution testing using specialized laboratory equipment.
• Collect and document testing data accurately and efficiently.
• Support both accredited and non-accredited testing projects.
• Maintain, organize, repair, and calibrate facility equipment as needed.
• Operate forklifts safely and responsibly.
• Manage testing and laboratory records within company databases.
• Follow established procedures while taking initiative when challenges arise.
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing workplace.
