Responsibilities

  • Lead the resolution of escalated Package Material (PM) and Additional Material (AM) issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through collaboration with multiple teams.
  • Report and solve complex issues following established procedures.
  • Support material analysis and manage claims within defined processes.
  • Serve as a PSM coach or leader in PSM teams.
  • Disseminate information about known issues to prevent re‑occurrences.

Job description

Title: Package Performance Specialist (multiple openings)

Location: Denton, TX, US

Job Summary

Position is located at Tetra Pak headquarters at 3300 Airport Road, Denton, TX 76207. 75% Domestic and international travel required. Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do
  • Lead the resolution of escalated Package Material (PM) and Additional Material (AM) issues to ensure efficient and accurate problem‑solving on Tetra Pak packaging equipment.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through close collaboration with Issue Resolution Management, central specialists, Customer Service Organization, Converting Factories, Supply Chain, and Specification Owners Document.
  • Report and solve complex issues and claims following established procedures and actively participate in the global Machine Material Interaction (MMI) network to share expertise and drive improvements.
  • Support material analysis within the Issue Management team by managing claims in accordance with defined processes and escalation protocols.
  • Serve as a Problem‑Solving Methodology (PSM) coach or leader in PSM teams, enabling fast and effective issue resolution by involving relevant competencies, and educating, coaching, and sharing experiences with Tetra Pak colleagues and customers.
  • Disseminate information about known issues to the Technical Service organization, ensuring prevention of issue re‑occurrences and horizontal expansion of solutions to known MMI issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Automation, Chemical, Process or Food Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in food packaging performance, production, quality control, or quality assurance; or Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience in the same fields.
