Job summary

Ideal candidates can lift 50 lbs unassisted, work in all weather, and communicate clearly in English in a noisy operations environment. Training and safety compliance will be provided as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment/assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours; able to bend and squat.
• Able to read/speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Move and load/unload packages safely and efficiently.
• Operate mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Perform shuttle duties using a non-articulated vehicle.
• Work at the FedEx location five days a week, Monday to Friday.
