Job summary

Please Assist Me is seeking a full-time Package Assistant Manager to oversee the on-site package room, assist residents, and keep the process organized in our Chicago community.

The role requires warehouse or delivery experience, reliability, the ability to follow directions, and strong time management; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a schedule from 9am-7pm Mon-Wed and 12-5 Sun. Training and wellness resources are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have previous warehouse and/or delivery experience.
• Available 9am-7pm Mon Tue Wed and 12-5 Sun; able to cover opposite shift if needed.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone and with a teammate.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to completing the job at the highest level.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; ability to lift up to 45 to 50 pounds.

• Help residents locate and retrieve their packages.

What does a Please Assist Me Package Assistant Manager do?

• Package Management: Managing an on-site package room. Duties include entering packages into the system, placing packages inside units, organizing the package room, and helping residents find their packages.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have previous warehouse and/or delivery experience.
• Must be available from 9am - 7pm hours each day on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and 12-5 on Sunday, with availability to cover opposite shift if needed
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone and with an amazing teammate!
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to completing the job at the highest level.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; ability to lift up to 45 to 50 pounds.
• $19 per hour
