Job description

Assemble ticket orders for retailer delivery, compare contents with invoices, enter date into courier/instant system, stage orders for delivery, and transfer orders to shipping courier. May perform other packaging tasks including: placing labels on packages, operating small production equipment, counting and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product. When applicable, maintains related records to comply with government standards.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Obtain pick order from order processing system.
Pick appropriate product from inventory to prepare for packing.
Pack appropriate merchandise into delivery boxes/envelopes, matching each invoice with corresponding pack numbers.
Scan product bar codes into file shipping system.
Insert bill of lading and other items as needed. Affix shipping label.
Place completed packages onto belt/skids/baskets.
Restock work area and supplies as needed.

Manage and organize shipping supplies and inventory.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions.

Strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with computers a plus.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand for periods of time.
Ability to get along with others, and work as a team.
