Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions in Saline, MI is seeking a reliable Pack & Scan Associate (Forklift Driver) to help keep production moving. You will safely operate forklift and scanner equipment, move finished parts to the Pack & Scan area, and support labeling, inventory control, and warehouse transfers.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the discipline to maintain 5S/Lean standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including forklift operation and use of scanner equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
• Demonstrated accuracy in handling inventory, documentation, and lot number verification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment and follow company safety procedures.
• Deliver packaging and materials to work centers and assembly areas before startup.
• Move finished products from production to the Pack & Scan area for labeling, scanning, and warehouse transfer.
• Operate forklift to transport materials and ensure proper placement in storage areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support cycle counts/inventory control.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S/Lean practices.
• Report and address quality or packaging issues promptly.
