Job summary

Amcor Sterling, MA is hiring for a production packer. The position runs on a rotating 12-hour shift (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) with weekends on a rotating basis, starting wage $16.70 per hour.

You will pack products, adhere to quality standards, and support production with accurate records and safety compliance. Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED. Excellent communication and manual dexterity are essential to success in this role, as is the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write to complete required forms and verify quality products.
• Good vision, eye-hand coordination, and hearing.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all safety regulations.
• Pack products on the line and maintain specified counts per box.
• Check product quality for width, length and seal strength.
• Ensure correct labeling before stacking finished product.
• Keep accurate counts in the computer system and report issues.
