Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated professional to analyze and interrogate pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders across cardiology practices. You will support telemonitoring by reviewing data and maintaining specialized software applications.

The role requires an associates degree with relevant experience; a background as a Senior Monitor Technician and electrophysiology exposure are a plus. HIPAA compliance and patient education are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 1+ year related experience required.
• 1 year experience as a Senior Monitor Technician preferred.
• 1 year in electrophysiology field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and re-programs pacemakers with various programs.
• Performs independent quarterly transtelephonic pacemaker checks.
• Maintains data through software applications.
• Reprograms devices as ordered by physicians.
• Maintains follow-up appointments for pacemaker and ICD patients.
• Conducts patient and family education on pacemaker/ICD care.
• Performs EKGs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
