Job summary

Midland Care Connection in Emporia, KS is seeking a Transportation Specialist to safely transport PACE participants between homes, the Day Center, and medical appointments. You will assist participants in and out of vehicles, help with wheelchairs, and report changes to the care team.

Required include a valid Kansas or Missouri driver’s license, current auto insurance, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. A reliable, compassionate driver focused on safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Kansas or Missouri driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current automobile liability insurance.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Ability to assist participants with transfers and mobility.
• Clean motor vehicle record per standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport participants between homes, the Day Center, and medical appointments.
• Assist participants in and out of vehicles and with wheelchairs.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment during trips.
• Report participant changes and vehicle issues to the care team.
• Perform basic vehicle safety checks and keep vehicles clean.
