Job summary

Valir PACE is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to develop and implement a program for continuous monitoring of patient care practices and outcomes, ensuring CMS and state compliance in daily operations.

You will oversee QA staff, track indicators, analyze data, and prepare for CMS surveys while driving improvements and staff education in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; relevant healthcare quality experience is a plus.
• Licensed caregiver preferred where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality assurance or healthcare setting.
• Must understand CMS and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversight QA Assistant on all tasks including tracking, analyzing and trending participant encounter data.
• Track, analyze and trend quality indicators and level II reportable as required by SAA and CMS. Create interdisciplinary interventions to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Identify areas of concern or needed improvement to maximize participant satisfaction and/or positive health outcomes; this may include creating new protocols and / or policies.
• Create action plans to remedy deficiencies or to improve service/care.
• Provide education to staff to improve performance and understanding.
• Research grievances/incidents and act as liaison to the participant/family involved
• Continuously audit organization to prepare for surveys and to ensure compliance with SAA, CMS, Joint Commission and all other regulatory agencies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and impact analysis as needed or as requested by CMS or SAA.
• Manages the tracking and reporting of all required quarterly and annual reporting to CMS, SAA and PACE team and the monitoring of all interventions to comply with regulations.
• Manages QA staff to include schedule, behavior, performance and development.
• Continuously audit participants & families to ensure care/services are delighting the customer.
• Continuously audit charts and care to ensure compliance with CMS and SAA regulations and to ensure documentation is accurate and complete and reflects care authorized in the care plan
• Other duties as assigned.
