Job summary

Nationwide Healthcare Services is seeking a Director of Quality and Compliance for its PACE program in a Delaware-based setting. This role oversees QA, compliance, and regulatory adherence to CMS and state requirements, driving performance excellence and participant-centered care.

The Director will lead quality initiatives, risk management, staff training, and data reporting, while collaborating with clinical and operational teams to ensure high standards of care and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality management, compliance, or regulatory affairs in healthcare with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge and experience with CMS and state PACE program operations and regulations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance protocols.
• Proven track record in leading quality improvement initiatives and risk management programs.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with interdisciplinary teams.
• Certification in Healthcare Quality (CHCQM, CPHQ) or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance Management: ensure adherence to CMS, state and local regulations and respond to audits and inspections.
• Quality Assurance and Improvement: develop and evaluate quality initiatives to ensure high standards of care.
• Risk Management and Reporting: lead risk assessment and mitigation and prepare for external audits.
• Staff Training and Development: provide ongoing training on compliance and quality standards.
• Participant Care and Satisfaction: advocate for participant safety and person-centered care.
• Leadership and Strategic Planning: contribute to strategic quality and compliance goals.
• Data Collection and Analysis: oversee data collection and reporting on quality metrics.
• Technology and EMR: guide EMR-related issues and staff training.
