Job summary

Harbor Health Services in Mattapan oversees two PACE programs and seeks a Finance Director for its Elder Service Plan. The role ensures accurate revenue reimbursements, partners with senior leadership, and drives annual budgeting while managing a small finance team.

Reporting to the CFO, you will coordinate Medicare Part D bids, RAPS data, PDE submissions, and vendor relationships to maintain compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required and five years of managed care experience.
• Two years of staff supervision experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office 365 including Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement principles including Medicare/Medicaid.
• Experience with Medicare risk adjustment factor coding and/or Part D bid/reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities; able to multitask under deadlines.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare billing and diagnostic coding helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial support for Harbor’s Elder Service Plan (ESP) PACE program.
• Lead budgeting processes and analyze variances for the program.
• Ensure accurate revenue reimbursements and manage vendor relationships.
• Serve as finance business partner to the SVP and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Oversee Medicare Part D bid, PDE data, RAPS submissions, and compliance.
• Lead contract discussions with hospitals and healthcare providers.
