Valir PACE in Shawnee, OK, is hiring a full-time Dietary Aide/CNA to support meal preparation, service, sanitation, and dining area maintenance within our senior care center.

Work with dietary and nursing staff to ensure food-safety standards, infection prevention, and participant dignity, while benefiting from competitive pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma Long Term Care Aide or Certified Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Food Handler certification or ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.
• Experience working with older adults or direct care preferred.

Responsibilities

• The PACE Dietary Aide/CNA supports meal preparation, meal service, sanitation, and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas.
• After dietary responsibilities, may provide supplemental CNA support as directed by site leadership and within certification scope.
• Collaborates with dietary, nursing, and center staff to ensure safety, dignity, and confidentiality in all duties.

About the Role: Job Summary

The PACE Dietary Aide/CNA primarily supports meal preparation, meal service, sanitation, and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas. After assigned dietary responsibilities are completed, the employee may provide supplemental Certified Nurse Aide support in the center, as directed by the PACE Site Director or licensed nursing staff and within the employee's certification, demonstrated competencies, and participant plans of care.

Dietary and participant-care assignments will be coordinated to ensure required meal-service duties, food-safety standards, infection-prevention requirements, and participant needs are met. The employee works collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and center staff and maintains participant dignity, safety, and confidentiality in all assigned duties.

Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience

• Current Oklahoma Long Term Care Aide or Certified Nurse Aide certification in good standing, as required for assigned duties.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Food Handler certification or ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.
• Experience working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, food service, or direct care is preferred.
