Twin Cities Orthopedics in Minnesota seeks a Physician Assistant to provide healthcare services in both the clinic and the operating room under physician supervision. The position spans Edina, Eden Prairie, and Eagan locations and is a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Minnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/license.
• DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in the clinic: room and prep patients; order x-rays; compile medical data.
• Assist surgeon in operating room: pre-surgery planning, position patient, assist in procedure.
• Perform therapeutic procedures: splinting, casting, suturing, wound care.
• Manage casts and dressings; change dressings; remove sutures.
• Implement patient management plans and record progress.
• Consult with patients for cast/brace applications; adjustments.
• Rounding and call as required by supervising physician.
• Prescribe medications.
• Participate in community outreach events.
• Other duties as assigned.
