The New York Institute of Technology is looking for dynamic adjunct faculty within the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. Faculty will instruct Master of Science courses based on their expertise, involving in-person classes, student assessment, and cooperation with full-time educators to ensure high standards of medical education.

Applicants should have a relevant terminal or graduate degree, board certification, and a minimum of three years of related experience. This part-time role offers hourly rates starting from $99 to $108 based on rank.

Formación

• Minimum of three years of clinical or academic experience in the subject area being taught.
• Current board certification and licensure, if applicable, in the healthcare profession aligned with course content.
• Prior teaching or instructional experience in higher education preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver assigned lectures or lab instruction in accordance with the course syllabus.
• Utilize NYIT’s Learning Management System (Canvas) to support course delivery.
• Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and observed competencies.
