Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Physician Assistant to assist, monitor, and manage daily patient needs under physician supervision. You will handle routine visits, triage new patients and manage post-operative visits and operating room time.

The role includes a weekend on-call rotation, with every fourth weekend on-call and holiday work as needed. Requires an AMA-accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, BLS, and ACLS.

The Orthopedic (Hand, Wrist & Elbow) Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards. The

Physician Assistant will report to the office five days a week to handle routine visits, triage new patients and manage post-operative visits and OR time
Weekend on-call on a rotating basis will be required.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Physician Assistant License.
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
