Job description

Join our growing Heart and Vascular Team at Corewell Health West! We’re recruiting an experienced APP who is seeking an exciting career opportunity to grow clinically and build a new collaborative program with our Aortic Center of Excellence.

An APP recruited to this role will work in a dynamic team-based care environment with Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiothoracic Surgery to serve patients with all types of aortic pathology primarily in the ambulatory environment. The APP will develop expertise in aortic disease and participate in research initiatives, aligning with our operational and physician leaders to advance the program.

Work primarily Tuesday through Friday in a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, with no obligations for evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

1. Nurse Practitioner:
   • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (post-2000 certification required evidence of accreditation by CCNE or NLNAC)
   • Experience in a collaborative Nurse Practitioner role
   • 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience
   • Michigan Nurse Practitioner licensure
   • BLS, NRP, PALS certifications
2. Physician Assistant:
   • Master's Degree from an accredited PA program
   • Michigan Physician Assistant licensure
   • 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience
   • PA-C certification from NCCPA
   • BLS, NRP, PALS certifications
