Job summary

South University is seeking a Director of Clinical Education to lead the clinical phase of the PA program, ensuring ARC-PA compliance and high-quality SPCEs. The role collaborates with program leadership to align with accreditation standards and campus-wide goals.

The position requires formal PA or related degree, NCCPA certification, and experience in PA education administration and teaching. It emphasizes collaboration across campuses and pathways for faculty development.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in healthcare disciplines such as physician assistant, pharmacy, medical doctor, or public health (minimum Master’s).
• 1–2 years teaching in graduate health-related profession preferred.
• 2 years of clinical experience required; five years preferred if applicable.
• PA education administration experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical curriculum development and implementation.
• Supervise Clinical Education Team members.
• Oversee assessment and improvement of the clinical phase and sites.
• Collaborate to monitor CLINICAL sites and ensure adequate SPCEs.
• Coordinate instruction across all clinical courses and rotations.
• Serve as a faculty advisor and participate in admissions.
