Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level P6 Scheduler for a Contract to Hire role in Monroe, LA. You will work with the Project Manager to create timetables, coordinate with field teams, and monitor schedules to ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, with an emphasis on learning and applying project management processes. The First 6 months include onsite meetings with GCs, subs and field management, followed by ongoing coordination to

• Experience with P6 scheduling and Primavera.
• Knowledge of critical path methods and schedule optimization.
• Ability to create and maintain project calendars and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project timetables coordinating with PMs and site leads.
• Schedule coordination for on-site meetings with GCs, subs and field management in initial 6 months.
• Manage workload distribution and monitor delivery and installation progress.
• Coordinate with PMs and leads to maintain project calendars through completion.
• Identify schedule disparities and report or correct them; prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Support process improvements and promote TEKsystems culture and mission.
