Job summary

Emerald Queen Casino in Fife, WA is seeking a Part Time Showroom Usher to deliver exceptional guest service during events in our casino showroom. You will assist guests with seating, answer questions, resolve disputes, and help ensure a pleasurable experience for all attendees.

The role requires standing for extended periods, reading ticket information in dim lighting, and flexibility to work day, swing, graveyard shifts and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Must possess excellent guest service skills.
• Must be able to stand and sit for extended lengths of time; read ticket information in dim lighting; tolerate a smoke-filled environment.

Overview

The Part Time Showroom Usher is responsible for providing superior guest service to patrons while attending events in our casino showroom. Duties include assisting guests with seating, answering questions, resolving disputes, and addressing issues in accordance with casino policies and procedures. Works closely with internal departments, takes direction from the Showroom Coordinator as needed, and ensures guests have a pleasurable experience. Performs additional duties as assigned by the department director.

Location: 5700 Pacific Highway E, Fife, WA 98424, USA

Salary: Starts at $17.31/hr.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

Experience & Requirements

• Must possess excellent guest service skills

Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to stand and sit for extended lengths of time
• Must be able to read ticket information in a dimly lit area
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

Licenses & Certifications

• Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission
