Qualifications

• Fuel, clean, and perform routine maintenance checks on assigned and shared vehicles.

• Compliance with traffic and safety regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ability to react to changing conditions in route format, weather, or general driving conditions.

Drivers work 20‑27 hours per week on rotating shifts between 4:45 AM and 12:30 PM, supporting operations seven days a week. They may also be asked to be on‑call or support overtime driving. As a vital part of our team, you’ll be the face of the university for many students, faculty, and visitors—providing exceptional service with every ride. This essential position requires a CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement and at least one year of experience operating passenger buses (16+ capacity). The position is considered essential personnel and must report for emergency preparedness or response.
