Job summary

Nooksack Northwood Casino in Lynden, Washington is seeking a part-time table games dealer. You will handle chip and cheque transactions, maintain a brisk game pace, and uphold casino profitability while delivering excellent service.

The role requires promoting the Winner's Club, reporting activities, and presenting a professional appearance. Candidates should be 18+, able to obtain required licenses, and have blackjack dealing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Nooksack Tribal Gaming Agency and Class Ill Washington State Gaming Commission licenses.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated positive customer service skills.
• Blackjack Class certificate and/or previous Table Games dealing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the integrity and productivity of assigned table; including retrieving and distributing chip/cheques, maintaining game pace for service and profitability.

• Promotes Winner's Club and informs members of benefits and promotions.

Promote customer service as a priority.

Complies with company and department policies and procedures while practicing positive customer and employee relations.

Ensures the integrity and productivity of assigned table; by including but not limited to, accurately retrieving and distributing chip /cheques, maintaining a game pace conducive to excellent service and casino profitability, assuring accuracy and legibility of fills, credits, and table opener/closure slips, notifying Floor Supervisor of any unusual play or disputes

• May sign fill, credit, and table opener/closure slips.
• Contacts the Floor Supervisor immediately for their acknowledgement of any large buy-ins and color-ups.
• Promotes Nooksack Northwood Casino's Winner's Club by, including but not limited to, being knowledgeable of advantages for club members and promotes the advantages to members and non-members, being knowledgeable of and promoting casino and market center special events and promotions, ensuring that members' play is accurately tracked.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation and reporting of department activities and status l:!S requested.
• Maintain a professional and neat appearance of work area
• Maintain a professional and neat appearance and represent the company in a positive manner.
• Such other job related duties as may be assigned by instruction from management

Qualifications

Required

WORKING CONDITIONS

• May work in a, noisy, crowded, and smoke-filled environment.
• Will be monitored by surveillance cameras.
• May be required to work various shifts and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• May interact with persons who are angered, intoxicated, or distressed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to walk and move throughout assigned shift.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, twist, and grip.
