Job summary

Intertek’s Houston team is seeking a P/T Rope Access Level III Technician to perform rope-access visual inspections under supervision or independently. Travel is required for project-based work. The role emphasizes field leadership, documentation, and client interfacing within NDE/Rope Access procedures.

Ideal candidates hold SPRAT/IRATA Level III, 3+ years of field experience, and a willingness to train trainees. A TWIC card and physical ability are required, with MS Office proficiency valued.

Qualifications

• Current SPRAT/IRATA Certification Level III required.
• Minimum of 3+ years field experience.
• Prior experience as a Rope Access Supervisor preferred.
• ASNT Level II certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid TWIC card required.
• Able to pass physical exam.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors.
• Ability to solve technical issues in the field.

The P/T Rope Access Level III Technician is responsible for performing various visual inspections via rope access under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience as a field technician and as a supervisor for the Rope Access team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services!
