Job summary

PPG, based in Gainesville, FL, is hiring a Maintenance Technician on a 2p-10p shift, Monday-Friday, with a pay rate of 22.03 per hour. You will play a crucial role in ensuring quality product availability, impacting lives through reliable manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years' experience preferred.
• Basic electrical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.).
• Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment and ordering/installing replacement parts.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
• Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
