Job summary

Relco is seeking a PID and 3D Piping Designer in Willmar, MN. The role designs process and instrumentation diagrams and 3D piping models, supporting quotation and project teams with technical input and compliance to standards.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or relevant experience, familiarity with Autodesk Plant 3D, and ability to collaborate with engineers, sales, and controls. Travel 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates/technical degree or relevant work experience.
• Experience in PID design and 3D piping is preferred.
• Familiarity with process systems and equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design PID drawings and 3D piping layouts per direction from engineering.
• Prepare BOMs and PIELs in line with company procedures.
• Collaborate with process engineers, project engineers, and peers to align designs.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, controls, and sales to resolve issues.
