Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance sales or related role.
• Active P&C license required or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Strong coordination and prioritization of competing demands.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; travel up to 25% yearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead daily team activities, ensuring workload distribution aligns with unit objectives and monitor pipelines and lead assignment.
• Supervise the work of individual contributors and provide day-to-day direction within established processes.
• Assist management with decisions related to team performance, staffing, and workflow.
• Spend time performing sales work directly, including prospecting, discovery, and closing on assigned accounts.
• Drive sales execution and client engagement; develop pipelines across assigned territories.
• Deliver coverage solutions by applying knowledge of insurance needs, products, and market trends.
• Support Account Management in maintaining key client relationships and retention activities.
• Monitor KPI progress and prepare regular sales activity reports.
