The role requires a proven track record delivering IT projects on time and on budget, with strong communication and executive presence to navigate challenging messages under pressure.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of recent project management experience delivering IT projects.
• Budget responsibility of at least $150K.
• Familiarity with effort-driven project planning in MS Project.
• Strong skills in planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Experience managing vendors and creating/executing SOWs.
• Excellent communication with all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initiation to completion with budgets of at least $150K.
• Manage 3+ projects concurrently depending on complexity and phase.
• Lead a matrixed project team resolving resource allocation and scheduling issues.
• Build and maintain project schedules in MS Project/Project Server.
• Reconcile timesheets and adjust tasks to forecast accurately.
• Track and reconcile project financials; manage variances and funding.
• Ensure adherence to Portfolio & Project Management processes and templates.
• Identify risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions; escalate timely.
• Prepare and deliver twice-monthly project status reports.
• Engage with project teams, sponsors, stakeholders, and portfolio managers.
