Axiom, a leading provider of on‑demand legal talent, seeks an Insurance Counsel (Property & Casualty) to drive P&C product development, regulatory filings, and claims strategy for multi‑state operations. This hands‑on attorney role focuses on launching products while ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will bring 8–14 years in insurance law, a JD, and experience with reinsurance and complex deal execution within a fast‑paced team.

Formación

• 8–14 years of insurance law experience focused on Property & Casualty.
• Hands-on P&C product development and market launches.
• Strong multi‑state P&C regulatory knowledge and surveys.
• Experience with claims processing and reinsurance transactions.
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate P&C insurance and reinsurance agreements, filings, policy forms, and claims documents.
• Provide guidance on product development, compliance, and launch strategy including multi‑state filings.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams on new product initiatives across state laws and business goals.
• Advise on claims handling, procedures, policy interpretation, and dispute resolution.
• Support deal processes, including due diligence, structuring, and regulatory approvals.
