Job summary

ESC of Eastern Ohio Consortium is seeking two Intervention Specialist Tutors to support Austintown Local School District students. The grant-funded positions offer $25 per hour for qualified applicants and require Ohio teaching credentials.

Compensation:

$25 per hour for qualified applicants

Qualifications:

Qualifying Ohio Teaching License in one of the following areas:

• Early Childhood Intervention Specialist: (P-3)
• Primary Intervention Specialist (PreK-5)
• Early Childhood (P-3) with Prekindergarten Special Needs Endorsement or willingness to obtain
• Primary (PreK-5) with Prekindergarten Special Needs Endorsement or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures
• Deliver targeted interventions in early literacy, numeracy, language development, and social-emotional skills
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans based on student needs
• Use evidence-based instructional strategies and progress monitoring tools
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistency in student support
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Special Education, Building Principal,and/or the Superintendent

The successful candidate must have the following on file before starting:
