Qualifications

• Understanding and experience of restaurant hospitality.
• 1+ yr experience opening oysters and shellfish.
• Willingness to learn and retain knowledge.
• Good time management and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
• Understanding of NYC health department codes

Responsibilities

• Prepares mise-en-place for the raw bar workstation.
• Maintains accurate prep lists.
• Maintains ice, oyster and supply inventory in section.
• Inspects ingredients for quality-control.
• Sets up and maintains raw bar display.
• Presents and plates excellent food for service.
• Interacts with guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Coordinates pick-ups pick ups with servers and cooks.
• Communicates with the lobster team during and after service.
• Cleans and sanitizes work area and maintains designated cooler space
• Other duties as assigned to support business operations
