Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support the project quality program on owner- or EPC contractor-side capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, review quality documentation, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

Week-to-week you mix field observations with document reviews, witness hold points, track audit findings to closure, and bring evidence such as records and test data to audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
