Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. The role focuses on surveillance, documentation review, audit closure, and reporting to the project quality lead, offering a view of quality from the requirements side.

You will alternate between field activities and document review, witnessing hold points, tracking findings, and producing evidence-based status reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting and ability to organize large volumes of documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
