Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will oversee surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, review quality documentation, and report to the project quality lead.

Your week blends field work with document review, witnessing hold points, and closing audit findings. Expect travel to active sites and coordination with the client’s quality team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
