Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support the project quality program from the owner’s side. You will surveillance contractor and supplier work, review QC plans and inspection records, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

This role suits an inspector or QC engineer who wants to see quality from the side that writes the requirements, with a mix of field activity and document review, including witnessing hold points and compiling evidence for

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
