Description

Title: Architectural Project Manager | Owner’s Representative

Location: 11455 Viking Dr. Eden Prairie, MN 55344 Pay: $100,000 – $130,000

Brand new opportunity for an architectural professional to serve as an Owner’s Architectural Project Manager or an Owner’s Representative, providing owner‑side leadership for a portfolio of capital projects. This position is ideal for an accomplished architect or architectural project leader who understands how to successfully deliver projects but is ready to operate from the owner’s perspective rather than within a traditional architecture firm. Instead of producing drawings, this individual will direct outside architects and engineers, guide design decisions, coordinate internal stakeholders, and ensure projects meet established standards for design, functionality, budget, schedule, and quality. You will serve as a key connection between internal leadership, operations, external A/E consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Why This Role?

This opportunity moves you beyond traditional architectural production to a broader role in how major capital projects are conceived, designed, coordinated, and delivered. You will influence projects from the earliest planning stages through completion while directing high‑caliber external architecture and engineering teams. For an experienced architectural professional who enjoys project leadership, consultant management, problem‑solving, and making owner‑level decisions, this position offers a compelling next step in their career.

Benefits
  • Salary of $100,000 – $130,000
  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution
  • Paid vacation and sick time
  • Paid parental leave and adoption assistance
  • Short‑term and long‑term disability insurance, life insurance
  • Flexible spending and dependent care accounts
  • Professional training and development opportunities
  • Employee discounts and additional organization‑sponsored benefits
  • Deferred compensation opportunities for eligible employees
What You’ll Do
  • Lead Projects from the Owner’s Perspective: Manage multiple capital projects from early feasibility and programming through design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
  • Establish project priorities, milestones, and design objectives while leading architectural planning and key design decisions from the owner’s perspective.
  • Ensure each project aligns with operational needs, business objectives, and established design standards while maintaining accountability for quality, budget, schedule, and successful project delivery.
  • Direct Architects, Engineers & Consultants.
  • Manage and provide direction to external architecture, engineering, and specialty consultants throughout project development.
  • Establish expectations for deliverables, schedules, and quality while holding consultants accountable for project milestones and contractual commitments.
  • Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance from the owner’s perspective.
Drive Design Quality & Project Performance
  • Review architectural and engineering designs for quality, coordination, constructability, functionality, and cost while proactively identifying potential issues and project risks.
  • Coordinate decisions among stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure design solutions remain aligned with overall project goals.
Manage Budgets, Schedules & Risk
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, expenditures, change orders, and critical milestones while evaluating potential impacts to cost, schedule, design, and operations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and provide leadership with clear reporting on project status, financial performance, schedule, and key concerns.
About You

  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • Architectural licensure strongly preferred
