Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Boston, MA seeks a Project Manager with experience leading municipal projects, especially police, fire and public safety facilities, to join our Owner's Rep Services team. You will oversee design, construction and closeout phases to ensure owner goals are met.

The role emphasizes client relationships, schedule control, cost management and coordination among architects, engineers and consultants, with a focus on delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in building design/construction, architecture or engineering.
• Prior experience with Higher Education projects.
• Knowledge of permitting and zoning laws.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, project management and contract law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage concurrent municipal projects from start to finish, on time and on budget.
• Build strong client relationships and coordinate with architects, engineers and consultants.
• Manage project goals within financial and schedule parameters for multiple stakeholders.
• Review documents, budgets and schedules for conformance and value engineering.
• Develop monthly reports, budgets, schedules and related project documents.
• Oversee staff performance and deliverables.
