GFA Alabama, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A owner-operators to join our Savannah GA lanes. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while growing your business with a trusted Southeast logistics partner.

We offer high-volume lanes, drop-and-hook freight, and weekly settlements via direct deposit. Must have 2+ years of CDL-A experience and a clean MVR to qualify for opportunities supporting scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Class A CDL driving experience.
• Must have own tag - we do not offer a tag program.
• TWIC card recommended but not required.
• Smartphone or tablet for ELD and GPS usage.
• Clean MVR and accident-free record.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles; retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with trucking rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report any defects, accidents, or violations.

What you will be doing:

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipt
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

What you should have:

• Must be 23 years of age
• Proven work experience as a truck driver. Minimum of 2 years of recent driving experience with a Class A CDL
• Must have own tag - we do not offer a tag program
• TWIC card is recommended but not necessary
• Smart phone or tablet for ELD
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Clean MVR
• Accident Free
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
• Valid Class A license and medical card
• Fuel card provided
• Weekly settlement through direct deposit
