Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an Owner Operator based in the United States. The role offers average annual earnings of $200-250K with weekly home time and compensation that includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.

Responsibilities include operating tractor trailer units, adhering to weight limits, loading/unloading wastes, securing loads, DOT placarding, and maintaining logs and reports. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required and valid.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the top priority by following safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of units
• Loads and unloads hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; secures the loads
• Placards vehicle per DOT requirements
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
